Aramis The Heir Syrah 2016

Mattinson review of Aramis The Heir Syrah 2015.

Aramis The Heir Syrah 2016
$80, 14.5%, DIAM cork, McLaren Vale.

There’s substance on offer here. Blackberry, roasted plums, coffee and earth characters lead into beefstock and saltbush. The tannin is firm and the finish is dry, but the palate has developed attractively over time, and remains both brimful of flavour and complex. 92 points.
