Mandala Sands Chardonnay 2025

Mandala Sands Chardonnay 2025
$60, 12.5% alcohol, screwcap, Yarra Valley.

This is a dry chardonnay with pear, brine, nectarine and apple flavours working slowly towards nougat and cedar-cream. It’s racy and refreshing at heart, but it’s also textural and complex, with no shortage of sophistication. It’s only a few months old but as it rests in the bottle it will develop (extra) flesh, and be even better for it. Right now it presents as both tasty and racy, in a good way. 92 points.
