Eastern Peake Brut Nature Zero Dosage 2022

Mattinson review of Eastern Peake Brut Nature Zero Dosage 2022.

Eastern Peake Brut Nature Zero Dosage 2022
$130, 14% alcohol, DIAM cork, Ballarat.

This wine is the antidote to the world of bland. It’s a fascinating drink, captivating even. It’s a coiled up sparkling wine of intensity and richness; it tastes of custard apples and chalk, grilled peach and honey, with ginger and the sawdust of cedar laced through. The finish then has a brine-like drive to it. It’s textural wine but, best of all, it’s a highly distinctive. Hallelujah to that. 95/100.
