Treasury drops Rosemount bombshell

This is a news item, not a Story. But this is such a remarkable development that I’m putting a feeder post here.

Twenty-five years after the Oatley family sold Rosemount – at its peak – to Southcorp, the current owners of Rosemount,Treasury Wine Estates, announced today that it has sold it back to the Oatleys.

FULL STORY HERE.

The original sale price was AU$1.5 Billion. No price, this time around, has been disclosed. But fair to say that most of the investment has well and truly been blown.
