Xanadu makes some of Australia’s best wines but it makes some of its best value wines too. This wine is such solid proof that it might just be Margaret River’s best value chardonnay. From the first sip to the last it’s thoroughly convincing, offering flavours of peach and grapefruit, mostly, with pear, cedar and citrus tossed through. It has more volume of flavour than – at this price point – you would reasonably expect, and it carries on impressively through the finish as well. Bam. One sip and you’re hooked.
