Treasury Wine Estates announces financial performance update

Treasury Wine Estates has announced a financial performance update for 13 August, 2025. This update will include the following key Treasury Wine Estates personnel:

  • Treasury Wine Estates CEO Tim Ford

  • Treasury Wine Estates CFSO Stuart Boxer

  • Managing Director, Penfolds Tom King

  • President, Treasury Americas Ben Dollard

  • Managing Director, Treasury Collective Angus Lilley

This will be a particularly interesting update given a) the incredibly tough market conditions in the wine sector, both in Australia and globally, and b) the context of the recent AU$2 billion investment by Treasury Wine Estates in Californian wine assets, namely Daou Vineyards and Frank Family Vineyards. This investment needs to start paying off in terms of Treasury Wine Estate’s American assets in general.

Obviously too, in this update, the performance of Treasury Wine Estates in China will be both fascinating and key. The re-opening of the Chinese market to Australian wine producers has been a significant boost to Australia’s wine fortunes but whether or not the sell in, and sell-through, has been sustained will be worthy of scrutiny. No one has more at stake in this market than Treasury Wine Estates.

Clearly the withdrawal of Treasury’s California distributor RNDC from that market is part of the current picture.
