$90, 14.5% alc, DIAM cork, Barossa Valley.

There’s a volume to this wine that makes it seems luscious and plush. Theres plenty going on in this wine too – it’s not a one trick pony – but the opulent display of flavour is certainly the wine’s strongest suit. Plums, cherries, redcurrant and peppermint characters come with highlights of blood orange, pink flowers, and five-spice. Tannin, finely crafted, rolls evenly through the back half of the wine. This is an excellent Barossa red wine. 94 points.
