This is a herbal and slightly ashen expression of shiraz/syrah. It’s a medium-weight, fragrant, sinewy wine with violet, game, blueberry and sweet plum flavours threaded with aromatic herbs and leather. There’s a laciness to this wine. A finesse.  It’s expressive, fine-grained and feels a bit wild in parts but there’s certainly pleasure to be had here. 92 points.
