It displays flavours of bell pepper, salted herbs, game and roasted nuts, which accounts for the complexity, but then it’s also juiced with dark, roasted berry flavours, and coffee-cream, and dark chocolate, and potpourri. Indeed you’d argue that this wine is more fuirt-driven than savoury, it’s just that there’s plenty of savoury-spice action, hence the syrah moniker. The end result is that it keeps you interested, satisfied, and more. 94 points.
