This wine is both complex and refreshing at once. Indeed it’s textural as well, which means that it’s a pretty impressive package all over, especially when you factor in that its white peach, citrus, beeswax, smoked corn and flint flavours have more than enough substance to satisfy. Personally, I would pop this in a cool, dark place and leave it alone for another 18 months or more, because I think that it’s in the process of building to an even more impressive place. But all the signs and sensations are good here, already. Indeed we are in fine wine territory. Control, inherent power, elegance, complexity and length are all well managed and presented. 93 points.
