Purple Hands Planta Circa Cabernet Sauvignon 2023

Review of Purple Hands Planta Circa Cabernet Sauvignon 2023.

Purple Hands Planta Circa Cabernet Sauvignon 2023
$120, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Barossa Valley.

This is a pure, luscious cabernet with subtle leaf-like inputs and meaty, toasty, oak-derived characters woven through. It offers a mouthful of wine in the most polished of ways. It tastes of blackcurrant and mint, mostly, though peppercorn, vanilla-cream and earth contribute to the wine’s general swirl. The tannin here has a bit of push to it too, which is good. This is a svelte, smooth-skinned wine of genuine substance. 95 points.
