Lienert Vineyards Dos Bros Shiraz 2021

Mattinson review of Lienert Vineyards Dos Bros Shiraz 2021.

Lienert Vineyards Dos Bros Shiraz 2021
$50, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, Barossa Valley.

This is a strong, muscular shiraz with dark, brooding blackberry flavours thread deftly with earth, roasted spice, cedarwood and vanilla cream characters. There’s an asphalt-like edge here but the fruit itself is luscious, sweet, ripe and impressive, the firmness of the finish the correct complement to the sizeable wave of warm fruit flavour. This is still a pup; it has years of development ahead of it. 93+ points.
