This offers a mix of developed and primary fruit characters, its plum notes matched to leather and vanilla, its savoury/earthen characters teamed to resin and citrus. It’s not the most harmonious of wines but it has good flavour, feels smooth as it flows through the palate and finishes both sound and complex. 90 points.
