Aramis Vineyards High Fidelity Sangiovese Cabernet 2017

Mattinson review of Aramis Vineyards High Fidelity Sangiovese Cabernet 2017.

Aramis Vineyards High Fidelity Sangiovese Cabernet 2017
$30, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

This is fully mature and is at the ‘drink up’ stage, but it still offers an attractive combination of leather, currant and sweet cherry flavours with clears runs of earth and autumn leaf notes about the edges. Cabernet Sauvignon is 44% of the blend but feels and tastes like the dominant partner, in a good way. If you’re looking for a mature red that won’t break the bank, this fits the bill. 90 points.
