Carlei Estate Cosmoir Viognier 2017

Mattinson review of Carlei Estate Cosmoir Viognier 2017.

Carlei Estate Cosmoir Viognier 2017
$39, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Heathcote.

Eight years old and in incredibly good shape. This is textural, fruity and complex to say the least, with wax and lanolin notes mingling with apricot, pear, cooked apple and butter. Given its age it’s remarkable how complex and ‘together’ this wine feels. It’s at its drinking peak and is an absolute delight to tuck into. 93 points.
