Monterra Trio Shiraz Mataro Grenache 2022

Mattinson review of Monterra Trio Shiraz Mataro Grenache 2022.

Monterra Trio Shiraz Mataro Grenache 2022
$35, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

This isn’t the most complex of wines but then it is easy to like. It’s sweet-fruited – think raspberry and red cherry flavours – though it gradually tends toward floral notes like violets and lavender. There’s some woodsy spice in the mix too, though that sweet hit of raspberried fruit is the main game here. 90 points.
