Black & Ginger Lucy’s Rosé 2024

Mattinson review of Black & Ginger Lucy's Rose 2024

Black & Ginger Lucy’s Rosé 2024
$35, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Great Western/Grampians.

Made with organically-grown shiraz and a touch of gewurztraminer. It’s such a refreshing wine. It tastes of watermelon and strawberries with darker cherried characters just peeping through. It lays subtle herb and floral notes right in there with the fruit, as a gentle complement, and remains juicy and a touch textural all the way through to the finish. Lovely drinking here. A bit different, in a good way. 92 points.
