Swinney Farvie Grenache 2023

Mattinson review of Swinney Farvie Grenache 2023.

Swinney Farvie Grenache 2023
$150, 14% alcohol, screwcap, Frankland River.

This is monumental. It’s all charisma, tannin, power and length. As you drink it you can feel the earth rise up. It tastes of meat, raspberry, dried herbs, iodine and sweet cherries, but it’s the swell of it, and the cascade, and the feeling of irrepressible momentum that propels its quality into the skies. Take that. This is great. 97 points.
