Provenance Henty Pinot Noir 2023

Mattinson review of Provenance Henty Pinot Noir 2023.

Provenance Henty Pinot Noir 2023
$55, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Henty.

This is from a vineyard in the cool Drumborg sub-region. It’s quite a wine. It has depth, it has tannin, it has brightness about its edges and it finishes with intent. Purple flowers, red and black cherry, cedarwood, sweet herbs and both nuts and undergrowth. Oak sinks straight into the fruit. Tannin takes the flavours and strikes out for the horizon. There’s quite a bit of wow to be had here. 95 points.
