Brand & Sons Grand Central Chardonnay 2024

Mattinson review of Brand & Sons Grand Central Chardonnay 2024

Brand & Sons Grand Central Chardonnay 2024
$30, 13.0% alcohol, screwcap, Coonawarra.

The 2023 release of a Grand Central Chardonnay was decent if, perhaps, lacking a little in flavour, This 2024 release adds a bit more punch. It tastes of grilled peach, pears, hazelnuts and vanilla, with pine and cedar notes as whispers. There’s both texture and grip to this wine, and satisfactory extension through the finish. It drinks well. 90 points.
