Brand & Sons Jim Brand Silent Partner Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Mattinson review of Brand & Sons Jim Brand Silent Partner Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Brand & Sons Jim Brand Silent Partner Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
$40, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, Coonawarra.

Serious delivery of flavour here. It’s bold with dark, berried fruit, rich and satisfying, with blackcurrant, sweet boysenberry, redcurrant and violet notes infused gently with cabernet’s trademark tobacco and dried herb characters. Cedarwood oak plays a role but a respectful one. Tannin is firm in both presence and in authority. In summary this wine delivers quality goods from every angle. 94 points.
