Allegiance The Fighter Tempranillo 2024

Mattinson review of Allegiance The Fighter Tempranillo 2024.

Allegiance The Fighter Tempranillo 2024
$30, 14% alcohol, screwcap, Hilltops.

This is a medium -weight wine of character and interest. It’s driven by cherry-plum fruit flavours but roasted nut, violet, cola and sweet spice notes are key influences, in the best of ways. This is a dry red, well structured, with a prettiness to its fruit and indeed to its overall profile. It’s an easy wine to recommend. 92 points.
