Barons of Barossa Grenache 2024

Mattinson review of Barons of Barossa Grenache 2024.

Barons of Barossa Grenache 2024
$30, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Barossa Valley.
Barossa Cellar release.

This is a steal. It’s a beautiful wine at a beautiful price. Raspberry, red cherry, earthen spice, gun smoke and fragrant herb notes make for a light-ish red wine of the highest drinkability, and quality. There’s an energy to this wine. A balance. A life. It’s impressive in a fragrant, dry, finessed way but most of all, it’s just a great fun wine to be around. 94 points.
