Barons of Barossa Shiraz 2023

Mattinson review of Barons of Barossa Shiraz 2023.

Barons of Barossa Shiraz 2023
$30, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, Barossa Valley.
Barossa Cellar release.

This is a luscious wine with blackberry, sweet raspberry, aniseed and roasted spice notes running impressively throughout. The density of the flavour, the softness of the texture, and the toastiness of the finish are all highlights here. Settle in, settle down, we have a lovely deep-flavoured shiraz on our hands here. 93 points.
