McWilliam’s Wines 660 Reserve Chardonnay 2024

Mattinson review of McWilliam’s Wines 660 Reserve Chardonnay 2024.

McWilliam’s Wines 660 Reserve Chardonnay 2024
$25, 12.5% alcohol, screwcap, Tumbarumba.

This is a fresh, effectively crisp, style of chardonnay but it also offers good flavour. It tastes of pears, stonefruit, grapefruit and lime, with cedarwood oak as a modest, attractive supporting cast. There’s a subtle creaminess to the texture too. This is a good wine at, it has to be noted, a very attractive price. 91 points.
