Irvine Altitude Eden Valley Shiraz 2022

Mattinson review of Irvine Altitude Eden Valley Shiraz 2022.

Irvine Altitude Eden Valley Shiraz 2022
$35, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, Eden Valley.

This Eden Valley shiraz feels like velvet in the mouth and delivers a substantial amount of flavour onto the palate. It tastes of blackberry, bitumen, redcurrant, peppercorn and mint-chocolate, and has good overall balance, along with a satisfying finish. Sweet fruit, a general warmth, polish, volume-of-flavour and softness; this wine offers plenty. 91 points.
