This is a warm, fruit-driven Barossa shiraz with blackberry, scorched plum, sandalwood, vanilla and peppercorn characters driving throughout. There’s a hit of dark chocolate/liquid toast on the finish as well. It’s unsubtle but it has good richness and finish; there are no rough edges here. 90 points.
