Rich, plum-shot fruit comes coated in toast, resin, cream and vanilla. It’s a mouthfilling red wine, powerful from the attack to the finish, bold with flavour and well structured by dry, assertive tannin. Blackberry, toffee, nougat, pure plum and violet characters team harmoniously with the lashings of oak, creating a dramatic red wine. 93 points.
