Curtis Family Vineyards Legion Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Mattinson review of Curtis Family Vineyards Legion Cabernet Sauvignon 2021.

Curtis Family Vineyards Legion Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
$35, 14% alcohol, screwcap, South Australia.

There’s a sweep of cream, coconut and vanilla-like flavours and indeed textures here, which combined with sweet blackcurrant-flavoured fruit makes for pretty luxurious drinking. Bay leaf notes add a bit of treble, while red licorice contributes to the bass. The combination of fruit and overt oak here mean that there’s a fair amount of joy to be tucked into. 92 points.
