$110, 14% alcohol, cork, Barossa Valley.

The heart of this wine is sweet, ripe, mouthwatering fruit flavour; the finishing of this wine involves roasted, savoury inputs in perfectly-pitched measure. Give this wine time to breathe and it really does sing. It tastes of boysenberries and plums, redcurrant and dust, with peppercorn, smoked cedar, mint and cocoa for afters. It has excellent depth, freshness and substance; it’s neat and bountiful at once. It delivers. 94 points.
