Pirramimma Border Clan Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
$70, 14.8% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

Sweet, dark, berried fruit flavour floods the palate here before dusty, twiggy, leafy varietal characters influence the finish. This is a textbook McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon, and a perfectly balanced one too. It sits on the bold side of medium weight, it explodes straight onto the palate and never lets up, and it’s well sustained. The tannin here is ripe and well judged too. Every post a winner. 94 points.
