Anvers Syrah 2022

Bottle of Anvers Syrah 2022.

Anvers Syrah 2022
$38, 14% alcohol, screwcap, Adelaide Hills.

This is a beauty. It’s a shiraz/syrah for those of us who love a bit of spice and/or pepper in our red wine. It’s floral too, beautifully so, and berried, and pillowy soft, and effortless. From start to finish it proves a great deal of pleasure, all of it – it’s important to note – in a savoury, nutty, gently herbal style. If you like this style, this wine is a yes. 93 points.
