Leconfield Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Mattinson review Leconfield Cabernet Sauvignon 2022.

Leconfield Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
$36, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, Coonawarra.

This is as solid as they come. In fact it’s better than that. It’s straight into no-brainer territory: the price and the quality are definitely in the buyer’s favour here. It tastes of blackcurrant, mint, cedarwood and cream, with bright Pez/orange-rind characters hovering throughout. It has substance but it also slings through to the finish with drive and purpose. As the drinker, you feel as though you’re in sure, confident hands. It’s the best way to feel. 94 points.
