This is a successful version of the “cool climate” or syrah style of shiraz. It’s peppery, mulchy, bunchy and herbal, but its mainstay flavour remains sweet, soft, boysenberry-and-plum fruit. Indeed within a peppery context it’s 100% delicious. 91 points.
