Shaw + Smith Pinot Noir 2024
$58, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Adelaide Hills.

This is a good release of Shaw + Smith Pinot Noir. It’s fresh, berried, supple and energetic – at once – with sweet spice and cedar-smoke notes woven through the core of tangy red cherry. Tannin is fine, the finish is sound, and it feels immaculate from start to finish – almost too immaculate. Now or over the next few years it will drink reliably well. 93 points.
