Mt Bera Vineyards Wild & Free Pinot Noir 2022
$35, 13.5%, screwcap, Adelaide Hills.

Attractive varietal character, an impression of fruit freshness throughout, a softness to the texture and a sound, well-extended finish. This pinot noir is a good drink, for starters, but it has enough complexity to keep you entertained, and enough buoyancy to make it a fun drink to be around. It tastes of cherries sweet and sour, strawberries, leaf matter and cedar-soaked spices. From start to finish, it works nicely. 91 points.
