Yes there’s excellent intensity of flavour here and yes it penetrates long through the finish. But it’s the dry. slatey asp[ect of the finish, in context, that really beguiles and really emphasises the wine’s presence. Green apple, lime, lemon myrtle and bath salt characters slash their way through the palate in the most convincing of ways. This is a terrific riesling.
