Alleanze Pinot Grigio DOC 2025
$30, 11.5% alcohol, screwcap, Veneto/Italy.

This white wine is fresh and fruity, as it should be, but what I particularly like about it is the extra hit of apple – cooked and fresh – flavour that attacks from the outset and keeps pushing on through the juiciness of the finish. It’s perfumed too – think musk and red rose scents –but it’s the run of apple-like flavour that makes this wine such enjoyable drinking. 90 points.
