The fruit here is a ripe and generous but it feels dry, almost slatey, through the finish, which is a nice touch. Plum, redcurrant, violet and dried spice flavours work their magic before that slatey, dusty finish. This wine feels elegant and controlled, even as it delivers on the flavour promise. 90 points.
