The 2023 release takes some time to open up; this 2022, on the other hand, is ready to roll from the moment you open the top. Currants red and black, leathers, dried herb and dust-like notes gradually move towards leafy tobacco-like flavours. The finish is dry and tannic, befitting of cabernet, and accordingly will work better with food than without. 90 points.
