Anvers Kingsway Chardonnay 2025

Mattinson review of Anvers Kingsway Chardonnay 2025.

Anvers Kingsway Chardonnay 2025
$38, 13.5% alcohol, screwcap, Adelaide Hills.

This is an absolutely delicious chardonnay. It tastes of ripe pears, chalk, cedarwood and smoked cream, but its appeal is more than the sum of its parts. It just has that extra yum factor – in the context, it must be said, of structure, control and eventual persistence through the finish. Everything this wine does, it does well. 93 points.
