There’s a lot going on in this wine and yet the net effect is that it slips down easily and just plain tastes good. In flavour terms we see black cherry, raspberry, chocolate and various notes of undergrowth, peppercorns, powdered milk, mint and woodsy spice notes. It’s medium in body and it works. Drinking it is a pleasure. 92 points.
