I tasted this wine a while back, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I’m tasting this wine again now, and I’m enjoying it even more. The sweet ripeness of the berried fruit flavours are as delicious now as they were when this wine was super-young, but now that it’s got a little time under its belt these fruit flavours are beautifully complemented by more savoury elements. You get primary fruit, you get savoury development, you get pretty floral notes and you get subtle notes of leather and spice. This wine will develop yet further from here but in all honesty, it’s drinking a treat right now. 93 points.
