Chandon Étoile Release No 2 NV

Bottle of Chandon Étoile Release No 2 NV.

Chandon Étoile Release No 2 NV
$120, 12.5% alcohol, DIAM cork, Victoria.

Unreal sparkling wine. Just simply fabulous. Such beautiful richness to the flavour, so zesty and fresh as it delivers this flavour, so underpinned by complexity and then a finish that is a walk into tomorrow. Wow this is a sparkling wine; this is Chandon Australia for the win. What I particularly love are those flashes of custardy creaminess, married to flashes of charcuterie, followed by a crescendo of lemon rind and brioche. Great release, this. 95 points.

Chandon Étoile Release No 2 NV is a blend of eight vintages of Chandon Vintage Brut, reaching back to 2005.
