$60, 14% alcohol, screwcap, Barossa Valley.

What a beautiful wine. Complexity is made to look effortless here. It tastes of undergrowth, ripe red cherry, cola, tobacco, sweet earth, graphite and a whisper of cedar, and while it’s only mid-weight at most, the flow, feel and flavour of it are all into seduction territory. This is a lovely, lovely wine. It’s (well) structured and persistent too. 94 points.
