This is a lovely wine to drink. It’s spicy, well fruited, characterful and clean, not to mention satisfying. It tastes of juicy plums, toast, gum leaves and violets, and while it’s both warm and lively it also boasts a velvety smoothness. Red licorice flavours push out through the finish; it’s a winner. 92 points.
