Acta Non Verba Chardonnay 2022
$55, 13.5% alcohol, Cork, Adelaide Hills.

This is a rich, mouthfilling chardonnay with powerful grilled peach flavours melting into cream, almond paste, cedar-spice and nougat. It feels controlled throughout but there’s serious substance to this wine. It’s straw-coloured in the glass and alive with flavours. Mineral and gravel-like accents give this wine an extra edge of quality. Hold off from drinking it for another year or two – if you can – and then watch it explode into action. 94+ points.
