Deep fruit flavour is rarely served so fresh. This wine tastes of boysenberry, redcurrant, ripe plums and sweet spices, with echoes of smoked cedarwood hovering throughout. But it’s that combination of substance and vitality that really seduces, matched as it is to fine-grained tannin and a clean, well-sustained finish. 94 points.
