Thorn-Clarke Single Vineyard Malbec 2024
$45, 14.5% alcohol, screwcap, Barossa Valley.

Grown own the St Kitts vineyard in the north reaches of the Barossa Valley.

This is rich, svelte, smooth and characterful. It tastes of sweet ripe plums, earth, iron, vanilla and cedar, with toast and bay leaf notes infused attractively throughout. It’s super-satisfying and super-smooth, the latter in the best and freshest of ways. This is a tip top drink. 93 points.
