Welland Old Hands Shiraz 2022
$70, 15% alcohol, cork, Barossa Valley.

Both the fruit and the oak here are served in generous proportions and the end result is plush, smooth and satisfying. This is a bold Barossa shiraz that shows no signs of compromise. Blackberries, roasted plums, sweet spices and saltbush flavours drift into mocha, cream, toast and cedar. It’s both dramatic and cuddly. Indeed everything about this wine is mouthfilling and warm. 93 points.
